HOLA PROGRAMS

In partnership with Indiana Latino Institute: We are working on the initiative Making Postsecondary Dreams Come True: Reaching Latino Youth in Rural and Mid-Density Counties Project. 

 En alianza con Indiana Latino Institute, trabajamos en la iniciativa "Haciendo realidad los  sueños de ingresar en educación superior" acercando a jóvenes latinos de condados rurales y de densidad media. Esto es apoyando a jóvenes Latinos y sus familias  con información y talleres para que cada vez más jóvenes Latinos egresados de high school en Estados Unidos, ingresen a educación superior. 

 In partnership with the Indiana Latino Institute, we are proud to offer Días de la Familia—college visits designed for Spanish-speaking families. In 2024, we visited Ivy Tech Community College, the University of Evansville, and the University of Southern Indiana.

En colaboración con Indiana Latino Institute, ofrecemos Días de la Familia, visitas universitarias diseñadas para familias de habla hispana. En 2024, visitamos Ivy Tech Community College, la Universidad de Evansville y la Universidad del Sur de Indiana.

Lunch will be provided.
Hands-on and interactive activities, field trips, and more.

Padres Estrellas are here to help Hoosier Hispanic or Latino families. Padres Estrellas connects with schools, neighborhoods, and community partners to focus on helping students and families earn the 21st Century Scholarship and access the Workforce Ready Grant to increase student access and attainment to higher education.

 Padres Estrellas está aquí para ayudar a las familias hispanas o latinas de Indiana. Padres Estrellas se conecta con las escuelas, vecindarios y socios comunitarios para enfocarse en ayudar a los estudiantes y sus familias a obtener la Beca del Siglo 21 y acceder a la Beca Workforce Ready, para aumentar el acceso y la obtención de educación superior para los estudiantes.

HOLA board and volunteers organize and support each year a number of events, such as:  HOLA Gala, HOLA Networking sessions, HOLA Festival, HOLA STEM Summer Camp, Platicas informativas para Familias Latinas, Dias de la Familia (College Visits for Latino Families).

 El equipo de HOLA,  junto con voluntarios organizan cada año diferentes eventos como HOLA Gala, Sesiones de Networking, HOLA Festival, HOLA STEM Summer Camp, Pláticas informativas para Familias Latinas, Dia de la Familia (visitas a campuses universitarios para familias latinas). 

HOLA has partnered with Ivy Tech Community College, University of Evansville, University of Southern Indiana, to develop a comprehensive leadership series with the outcome of:  Providing participants with the leadership and advocacy skills to shape organizational culture.

HOLA is involved in many city and regional initiatives, providing the voice of the Latino community.

 HOLA Board Members have been in the steering committees of initiatives such as E is for Everyone and I-69.

 This course is designed to provide beginners with a comprehensive understanding of SQL (Structured  Query Language) and Power Bl, essential tools for data management and visualization. Participants  will learn fundamental concepts, practical skills, and hands-on techniques to query databases, analyze data, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power Bl. Este curso está diseñado para proporcionar a los principiantes una comprensión integral de SQL (Lenguaje de Consulta Estructurado) y Power BI, herramientas esenciales para la gestión y visualización de datos.
